Madrid run out handsome winners at Riazor

In a high scoring match, the Whites still have the La Liga title in sight. Real Madrid defeated Deportivo 6-2 in a dominant effort from the Whites. Madrid scored early, less than a minute into the match on a Morata goal assisted by Isco. The lead could have grown substantially throughout the first half if not for the performance of Deportivo’s Lux in goal.

Real Madrid’s other goals came from Isco, Vázquez, Casemiro, and two from Rodríguez. In a postgame interview, Isco stated that “it was a well-rounded game and the score line reflects that.”
